Paradoxically, the only beach I have ever seen that looks like the South Pacific was in the North Pacific. When I first started creating web sites, I was into giving away free wallpaper. Even before we moved to Hawaii, I was offering some of my best photography to be downloaded as free desktop wallpaper. But once I started taking pictures of Hawaii, I was hooked. Now we have all kinds of free desktop wallpaper pictures of Hawaii, Big Bear California, Los Angeles, Hollywood, New York, Maine, and other cool stuff.

While all of the wallpaper pictures are popular, the Hawaii pictures are by far the most popular. Especially in the winter! I guess it really does help people to think warm thoughts. Nothing like a warm Hawaii beach picture to help with that.
